Here’s some basic rumba danced by Allan Tornsberg (Denmark) and Carla Lucca (Italy). Remember that their whole “raison d’etre” is to attract the eye of the judges, so it’s a little bit “over the top”, but there are some fine things here to study and learn.

Marcus and Karen Hilton are a British couple – now retired from active competition – who have won the World Professional  Ballroom Dancing Championships a total of nine times. In June 1997, both Karen and Marcus were awarded Membership of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List.  You can watch them dancing Basic Waltz in this link. Oscar and Georgina Mandagaran

Here are Oscar Mandagaran and Georgina Vargas dancing their romantic style tango. Done at the end of a workshop, this demo should be particularly enjoyable for you, as they’ve kept the material relatively simple, and I’m sure most of you will recognise the steps.
